Person can't subscribe to my site

    Hello, I have a person who wants to subscribe to my site bellatwins.org but can’t. The email is an @icloud.com. She can’t even get the confirmation email, it’s not in spam. Is there anything that I can do here? thanks

  • Hi, It looks like you are hosted with someone other than WordPress.com. This means you are using what’s known as a Self-Hosted version of WordPress called WordPress.org.

    As of confirmation email not arriving, there might be many different reasons for that. It depends on what software do you use for email delivery, whether your emails are signed with DKIM/SPF, your domain reputation etc.

    I would suggest asking your customer to check his/her spam folder, and if you will be seeking help at wordpress.ORG support forums – please include as many details mentioned above as possible.

    I would suggest her to use email service providers like Gmail, Yahoo or any custom email service, As far as I know, icloud is an online storage and other services which are used for Apple devices.

    Secondly, it might go to junk or iclould is not allowing that promotional emails in the inbox.

    I have also tested your website that I don’t face any issue subscribing to your email list and confirmation.

    Thank you, I was going to advise her to try a different email. I don’t have any problems subbing either.

    Sorry. I didn’t mention in my post (I thought this would go to a Jetpack specific forum) that I’m using the Jetpack subscribe option. That’s why I posted here, I don’t think my server would have anything to do with it in that case, it would be a Jetpack (therefore WP.com) issue?
