  I would like to delete my wordpress. I had to make it for a class 2 years ago and it made my personal info public. (Things like my phone number and my address pop up on google) I had to make my stuff public for my class but even after I deleted it on my wordpress its still lingering on google when you search my name. How do I completely shut down and get rid of this and my google link with all the info. Heres the link that concerns me the most:

  Clicking the PDFs link results in this:

  and a member of this blog.

  To keep things running quickly around here, files are held in multiple caches through a separate system. These caches are usually cleared within 3 days and the files will then become 404 page not found.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed items from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

  I forgot to state what’s most important and it is that you need to delete the PDFs file from your Media Library.

  Hi there,

  Your site is set to private, so no one but you should be able to access that file. However, as @timethief mentioned, there is nothing we can do if that file has already been cached by search engines. In that case, you’ll need to contact search engines directly in order to have it removed. Be aware, though, that not all search engines comply with requests like that.

  @timethief has given you the link to the instructions specifically on how to do this with Google.

  To be safe, also make sure that you delete that file, and any other personal files from your media library. If you want to, I can empty your site for you completely, but be aware that this will permanently remove all posts, pages, comments and media files from your site and there will be no way to recover it. Please confirm that you understand this if you want me to proceed with that.
