    Hello,
When I type my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) into Google, it comes up with details on my website ‘britishtelecom.info’ but it also displays my name, address and telephone number!
Can you remove this immediately please?
    Kind regards,
    Stuart Collinson.

If you are referring to the domain name registration note:

Domain owners are required to share their contact information. The $8.00 Private Registration upgrade will protect your identity and hide your contact information. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. • Hi there,

You registered your domain in January 2015. However you only bought private registration for that domain yesterday. That means for almost an entire year your contact information was available to anyone doing a search of the public WhoIs data for your domain. The way private registration works is clearly explained on the domain registration support documents:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/register-domain/#public-versus-private

The information that comes up during a Google search was collected by those websites during the time when your contact information was public. As those sites are neither owned nor hosted by WordPress.com we have no ability to remove any information from those sites. You will need to contact the owners of those websites directly to have your information removed.

    Hello,
I have paid for private non-disclosure of my address and telephone number several weeks ago, and my details are still being displayed.
Can you please look into this?
    Regards,
    Stuart Collinson.

  • As I said above, the information on that site was collected by them before you enabled private registration on your domain. There is nothing we can do about this, as we do not own that website and have no way to force them to remove your information.

You will need to contact that website directly to have your information removed.
