Personal plan at $3 month adds 3 gigs of space?
-
I have reached the limit of photo space on my free plan. I clicked on plans and the Personal says for $2.99 I get 3 gigs. Is that 3 gigs more? Didn’t I start with 3 gigs? I’m confused…

I have the same problem…
When I am on the Media Library site, I get the suggestion to buy the Premium plan.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/ states:
“All WordPress.com blogs come with 3 GB of space for uploaded files and images.
WordPress.com Premium includes another 10 GB of extra storage, for a total of 13 GB.
WordPress.com Business includes unlimited storage space.”
Personal is not mentioned… So I guess we’ll have to bite the bullet and pay 8.25 (EUR) per month from now on – quite a raise from 0… :( -
Hi there,
All WordPress.com sites come with 3GB free storage. If that storage runs out you will need to upgrade to the Premium Plan for additional 10GB storage, as Personal does not add additional storage to a site.
Note that you can also embed images hosted elsewhere, like on Flickr or Google Photos.

Thank you. I found out the hard way, as usual. I upgraded to Personal and found I could not load more photos. So I moved up to Premium and all is well.

I see you did get a discount when you upgraded to Premium at least :)
Included in your plan is also a free domain. You can find instructions here in case you want to add one:

Yes, I noticed that $27 plus $38 fell well short of $99. Maybe from upgrading from Personal after only a few minutes? I dunno. But I’m happy with it.
Thanks.
