Personal Plan – Domains

    Hi – I have recently upgraded to personal plan (£36/year) as I want to use a domain I already have registered.
    I see that I can transfer in the domain to wordpress and 1 year will be renewed inclusive of the cost at this point, to add to the 2 years my domain is already registered for (with previous provider).

    At what stage will wordpress.com want to renew the registration, will be 12 months after I transfer it in to wordpress (so it will still have two years before expiring) – or will it be say 3 years from today when the domain comes close to expiry?

    Also provided I continue as personal plan does my domain name continued to get renewed each year inclusive of the price (£36/year).

    I couldn’t really work this out, and would appreciate help – thanks
