    Hi, I wanted to ask the pricing of $4/mth is fixed for life? Or the pricing will change after 1year of subscription? (such as we need to pay for the domain after 1year & also need to top up for personal plan after 1year)

    All prices are subject to change, however, changes are rare. There are no monthly payment plans. We are are billed annually and must pay in full for the year at the time of purchase. There is an auto-renew option. Payment methods are here https://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/

    WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/

    How domain mapping works
    Registering an underlying .wordpress.com URL first is required for domain mapping. That underlying URL does not have to match the domain URL when you are domain mapping.

    What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL .wordpress.com to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

    You can use the Personal Plan if all you want is a custom domain, removal of advertising, live chat support and 6GB Storage Space but you need to add the plan first. If you add the domain first, Premium is selected automatically. Go to http://wordpress.com/plans to upgrade.

    There are no trial upgrades, no discounts, no promo codes, no monthly payment plans, no bulk deal upgrades, and no multiple year upgrades. Also note that proforma invoices are not issued and purchase orders are not accepted.

    Each upgrade bundle applies to a single blog only and is for a single year only when it is due to be renewed. (The only exceptions are one time upgrades for premium themes and guided transfers.) We are billed annually and we must pay for all upgrades in full at the time of purchase after selecting a plan.
