  If I upgrade to the personal plan for $5 a month, does that remove the words ‘wordpress’ from my URL? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  Yes. By upgrading to the Personal plan you’ll be able to register a custom domain name (e.g. yourgroovydomain.com) and hide the .wordpress.com part.
