Personal Plans & Domain Names

  I’m thinking about purchasing a personal plan for my blog, but it looks like I have to buy it before being able to see what domain names are available. I know that someone has pinched my blog name with the ‘wordpress’ but removed, so what alternatives would there be? This is one of the main reasons for purchasing the plan (along with removing adverts) so it’s important to me that I get something that people will recognise as being my site.

  Hi –

  Click on My Sites – Domains – Add

  Use that search bar to see what is available. It will also offer some suggestions for what you’ve added to the text bar.

  This can be done with out purchasing the plan. Note, the domain won’t be able to be registered until after the plan is purchased. But it will give you an idea of what is available.
