  Under Personal Settings “website” is set to link to an old blog that has been deleted rather than my current one. So when I go to Personal Settings to change the website, I get the following error message: ERROR: The user’s e-mail address is already set to the e-mail address entered. And it refuses to change the website. This is the case even though I have not made any changes, nor do I wish to make any changes, to the email address. Do I have to change my email address in order to change the website? I have also tried to leave the website box blank b/c, as I understand it, a website is optional, but I get the same error message. What am I missing. Thanks for your help.

  Hi @strictlybside,

  Can you try changing that address here instead?

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  You should see the Web Address field there as well.

  Sorry about that. Can you try this one more time? We recently pushed out some code (2 hours ago) that fixed a bug causing this error.
