Hi,
I am looking for a theme that can closely meet the following key requirements. I cannot see a ready made one on WordPress, but does anyone know of a theme that may support them please?
General idea is a website that allows me to pin places I have been on a global map, with each pin being associated with a country and place/city name.
Would also like to be able to pin places I plan to visit, these pins should be idenfied differently from the visited pins.
I also would like to store approx 20 -30 photos with each pinned location along with brief descriptive data per pinned location.
Each pin should also link to a Dropbox repository I already have set up (essentially a folder per location).
A simple dashboard would be desirable summarising basic data such as number of countries, places, cities visited. -
Hi @jonsomervillehotmailcom, we don’t have any themes built into our service that do that, but you could likely accomplish it with a “Where I’ve Been” type plugin.
I’d recommend checking the plugin repository at WordPress.org for plugins that are well maintained and highly recommended, as well as doing some web searches to see what people are currently using and recommending.
Noting too, for our managed hosting service, you would need a Business plan to add outside plugins. You can read more about that here:
