  hello- with the plan for $2.50 a month do I get a personalised mailbox at all?

  WordPress.com offers email forwarding, not email hosting. By purchasing a WordPress.com plan, you are given one custom domain credit. A custom domain is a requirement to have email forwarding. Here is a link to explain how to get email forwarding if this interests you:
