  I registered a domain (joaomauro.com) to my blog through an upgrade on my WordPress account. I also want to enjoy the joaomauro.com domain to create a custom email account (ex .: (email visible only to moderators and staff)). To do this I got the service business email from Yahoo. Yahoo reports that I can create accounts with joaomauro.com domain without transferring the domain to Yahoo’s servers, but warns that I request a “redelegating” the company that made the domain name registration. You can do this without interfering with the functioning of my blog on WordPress? I want the address to access the blog remains the joaomauro.com domain. Thank you!

  Hi!

  So, it is possible to use your Yahoo email address with a domain purchased at WordPress.com, but I don’t think we want to go the redelegation route specified by Yahoo.

  In the document link you provided, the instructions indicate changing the name servers to point to Yahoo instead of WordPress.com. This would cause your domain to stop working correctly.

  Instead, a better solution would be to ask Yahoo for your DNS records. These are provider-specific records that allow your email address to work. We would enter them at WordPress.com similar to the instructions here:
