Personalizing themes

Hi there, I’m about to launch my blog but wondered if there was a way to personalize the theme? Currently, I’m using a sticky post as the first post to allow three thumbnail photos to remain near the top. Please advise. Thank you. Dave

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot even begin to provide any advice unless or until you post the complete url for the blog to which you refer starting with http://

Sticky posts can be a problem; I’ve known them to interfere with an RSS feed, preventing subsequent posts from going out. Check your feed to ensure this isn’t happening to you.

There are strict limitations to the customizability of themes at Wp.com, because we share the ‘guts’ of our theme with everyone else using that theme. There are some with customizable headers, some with customizable colours, and some that have additional features like Vigilance’s Alert box. In general, more significant changes than that either have to be addressed by you writing the code for it and purchasing the CSS upgrade OR they aren’t possible on Wp.com.

This blog is designed for people without the CSS upgrade who would like to do the most possible to customize their blogs: http://csswiz.wordpress.com

There is also a lot a blogger can do with text widgets to personalize a site. One can add images and custom links.
