I am currently unable to use the above address as my web address. It became corrupted and I had to delete the config files. I own the above domain.
I cannot login in as cypo, which was my original username which is now inhibiting me from transferring the new site I have edited (called ppolycarpou.com.wordpress.com). I want to replace the ppolycarpou.com.wordpress.com with peterpolycarpou.com.
Please can you help?

The domain, peterpolycarpou.com, is registered with publicdomainregistry.com and hosted with bravehost.com, which means your site is on bravehost.com’s servers. That domain has never been connected to a site on WordPress.com, but you have/had a completely different site with bravehost.com. If you want to attempt to get that site back, you will need to contact them for help.
If you want to start over with that domain on your WordPress.com site, you can connect it here using the domain mapping upgrade that is included in all our upgrade plans. First add a plan at My Site ->Plans, and then add the domain mapping upgrade at My Site ->Domains.

There is a username, cypo, in our system, but that username was disabled by its owner in 2009 and have no connection with your domain. As I said above, your domain is neither registered nor hosted with us, and has never been connected to a WordPress.com site or account.
If you used cypo as your admin login on a self-hosted WordPress website it won’t allow you to log in to an account on WordPress.com with the same username.
