  Hi, I’ve been using wordpress for more than five years and am a loyal customer. My blog has over 12,000 followers and right now I’m in the middle of a very important advocacy movement dealing with the disease that I am fighting. One of these campaigns is a petition that I wrote from Change.org that has nearly 40,000 signatures. I would like to embed this petition on my SIGN THE PETITION page, so it’s easier for people to sign right there on the page, without having to click a link, open a new tab or webpage, and read through the material there. I would really like to embed this petition on my blog. It is for a very, very important purpose and not to mention, would drive a lot of traffic to your site. I know this is probably just going to someone at home support, but I can’t find the wordpress web page where you submit comments and suggestions. This is hugely important to me (and millions of other sick people) and if it’s not something that can be done or at least an upgrade I can pay for, I may have to take the site to another host that would allow this functionality. I don’t think a change.org petition will be any security risk to your virtual establishment. I really like wordpress for the most part and would prefer to stay with you so please, please consider letting me embed this crucial petition so people can sign from YOUR site and not have to jump around clicking extra links to sign. Believe it or not, that makes a difference in whether people sign or not. They’re a bit lazy about ‘clicking’. Please consider my request. Thank you and I appreciate your time.

  We do not have the ability to embed change.org petitions on WordPress.com. But the ability to do so is an interesting feature idea. I can see why that would be a useful item for bloggers.

  I will make a note if the idea and suggest it internally.

  Thanks Josh. I think a lot of bloggers could benefit from this capability and it would add to the versatility of your services. Considering the crazy high amount of people now using wordpress as both a blog and a website, and the equally crazy amount of online activism, funding, awareness and organization that is publicized this way, this is a much-needed feature and would get a lot of usage. And make customers very happy! Would really appreciate if the request could be made internally. Thank you again.
