phishing & spamming user emails

    Good afternoon.

    There is a user micbosi sending spam and phishing requests via emails from wordpress asking for passwords. How do I report this and get it to stop?

    Thanks for bringing attention to this. I was just preparing a message to send to WP about the same email. I’ve received five of them today.
    To WP: Here’s the message I’d prepared to send to you to alert you to this:
    Hi WP, Today I’ve received five emails from a blog to which I don’t subscribe. The author is “micbosi” and the url is http://wp.me/p1-1duR2. The text of the first post is “This is a new test post”, the second is “This is yet another test post” the third is “This is a test post” the fourth is “This post is password protected. You must visit the website and enter the password to continue reading.” and the last is “This post is password protected. You must visit the website and enter the password to continue reading.” I’m thinking this is spam? I’m not sure what’s going on but I thought you might want to know.

    Ah, sorry for the alarm. Those are staff test posts meant for a test site, but they somehow ended up on a real site that you follow. Thank you for letting us know! We’ll get that fixed.

    I received two “test posts” from micbosi as well via email updates that I can’t reply to without entering a password, called Test Post v1 and Test Post v2.
