Phishing Website: Come Home Witch
-
Hello! Just a few minutes ago I received an email notification on my phone regarding a new subscriber (comehomewitch) to my blog. When I clicked on the ‘view site’ button at the bottom, it took me to site which then immediately switched to a ‘You Apple iPhone has been hacked’ message. I quickly found out this is not real and is a scam itself. Thankfully I closed the page and did not click anything further. When I opened my computer and clicked on the notification there, another virus page popped up when I tried to view the Come Home Witch page. Thankfully I again was able to close the page with no issue and did not click anything on the phishing site.
I hope that WordPress is able to look into this so that other users who may not know that the alert message is fake will not click it and find themselves hacked that way. I have screenshots on my phone and computer, but can’t seem to add them here.
Thank you for looking into this issue! I enjoy using WordPress.

Hello. I am the owner of this site — comehomewitch.com.
And I emphatically say that I know nothing about these spam ads. I have ads, but I don’t see them myself.
I’m sorry if it bothered you. I checked everything and tried to clean everything.
I would be grateful if you unblock my blog, because I just write articles and obviously do not wish anyone anything bad. -
I just visited your site and something is definitely wrong as I get redirected to a phisphing site.
Also my virusscanner gives an alert because of this redirection. -
So what should I do?
I have already disabled all pop-up ads. Maybe it needs time to disappear.
I only have banners now and they are clearly safe. There were no such problems before, I hope this will disappear soon, because I value my blog and put a lot of effort into it. -
Those things don’t disappear themselve. It’s obvious your site got infected or hacked. You find instructions to clean up your site at https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-my-site-was-hacked/

Can you please not to close this thread?
I will try to solve the problem by the end of the week and write to you later. -
Hi again!
Could you please check if the annoying pop-up ads are still appearing?
My provider wrote to me that they removed interfering codes. -
Hi @comehomewitch,
I checked your site and noticed it’s not hosted here on WordPress.com. So, it’s best to contact your host. They might be able to help you clean up your site.
