Phishing/spam sent to private blog post. How?
-
I have been using a private blog to test my web site images, and have sent the feedback link to only a few people. I got a comment from someone who did not leave a name, and it sounds like spam or phishing. How did this happen? What can I do to prevent this? Can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are the second person today to mention such an issue. I’ve flagged this for staff attention.

Thank you. It seemed very weird. Here is the text of the post, obviously a lure:
Hi winterslaundromat,
Your friend has read your draft titled “Portfolio – Revised and Postcard Leave-behind” and provided feedback for you to read:
Are you married? Hope not … Call me.
You can also see their feedback here:

Seems like some sort of breech of security at some level. There is so indication ‘who’ this ‘person’ is, only a lure.
I’d love to know what this ends up being, if you can share.
Thanks.

Hi winterslaundromat,
I also have the same problem…and someone asked me the same thing. If you get the answer or find a solution to stop spams coming, please let me know.Sofia

Hi, Sofia,
Yes, of course. I hope they can pry the top off of whatever it was that these people did to gain access. Was yours also a private post where you got feedback? The weirdest part is that I have not published my post.If you like postcards, you might like the post of a cartoonist I really enjoy, Kate Beaton. Her most recent cartoon is about postcards.
Good luck.

Can you tell me a bit more about where this comment appear? Was it on a post or a page on your blog?
Happy to take a look with a bit more information!
Cheers,
Jeremey
