Phone Number on Domain Contact form FORM WILL NOT ACCEPT Number I get a red box error

    I have the DOMAIN REGISTRATION form filled out. HOWEVER, it will not accept my phone number. The form says to use a country code, which I have done. I cannot sign up for WordPress without the phone number, nor can I get help from WordPress without signing up. This is CRAZINESS!

    Below are the formats I have used
    I will use The number 2 for each digit of my phone number, with 1 as my USA country code. (Please help if you can!)
    1.222.222.2222
    1.2222222222
    12222222222
    +1.2222222222
    +1.222.222.2222
    Have also tried parentheses is all combinations
    Have also tried using home phone, cell phone #, husband’s cell #
    Grrrrrrr#$%^&*(

    Hi there,

    This version should actually be accepted:

    +1.2222222222

    Can you perhaps try that using dashes as separators instead:

    +1.222-222-2222

    I know this is frustrating, but it’s the validation on our registrar’s side that is so strict, and we don’t have control over that.

    Let me know if neither of these combinations work.
