Phone number security breach
-
A blog site I follow somehow gained access to my non-publicized cell phone number (used only for two-step authentication). I received a threatening text message demanding that I respond. I think it’s a computer virus versus the actual blog author but I’m not sure. Either way it’s a breach of security on the WordPress site. How do I file an official complaint to notify WordPress that this happened? I can’t seem to find any contact info for the WordPress staff itself. Any suggestions?

To contact Staff use the support live chat pop-up blox on the bottom right hand corner of your Admin page please. If it does not appear for you then email
help@wordpress.com
When you do either be sure to provide all relevant information and URLs. -
The WordPress email support is down for construction until April 20 and I can’t access or even find the Chat Box in the lower right corner of the Admin screen (most likely because I’m using my phone instead of my computer) but thank you for trying to help. I appreciate it. :)

I am aware of that. If the live chat pop-up does not appear for you then email

I see you submitted an abuse report. That was the right thing to do. A member of our team that deals with this sort of issue will be in touch with you.
