photo alignment with text below
-
Hello,
my blog is https://theheartofthematter-dailyreminders.orgI often post photos with my blog–either my own photos, or photos I’ve purchased from depositphotos.com
They look as if they are aligned correctly: the photo above, the poem below, both left aligned. but in actuality, the photo is about 3/4″ to the right of the poem text. I discovered I had no alignment set for the photo.
When I actually set left alignment on the photo, the poem jumps up to the right side of the photo. I don’t want this to happen. I want the poem below.
Can you help me? I’d deeply appreciate it!
Thank you,

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
I can see the issue you describe there, and it looks like this could perhaps be a quirk of using the block editor, with a theme has long since been retired and is so no longer supported: https://wordpress.com/theme/pilcrow/
To remove this gap, you would be looking to insert this content via a classic block: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/
Alternatively, you may wish to consider a theme that allows more in terms of styling with the block editor.
I hope this helps.
