  The code you can use on a free wordpress.com site is very limited. The EMBED-code is one of many you can’t use. More info at https://wordpress.com/support/code/

  Are you trying to upload your profile picture at https://wordpress.com/me/? Are you getting an error, or is it just failing?

  Please see if it helps at all to clear your browser cache, or to use another browser.

  From what service are you trying to embed content? Can you paste the embed code you’re trying to use below? Wrap it in backticks to prevent the code from being stripped out.
