Photo as part of a comment

  How Can my reader / follower post a picture as part of a comment?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  As an administrator, editor, or author on a blog, you can include images in your comments. Your readers can submit a link for inclusion, but you’d have to add it.

  You’d use basic HTML to insert the image either way:

  <img src="[image URL]"/>

  So effectively a graphic cannot be part of the reply? Also, how could I add a link INTO someone else’s comment?

  What I are really looking for is this – if someone has a. Photo they want to share in response to my blog post, a regular JPEG file for example from their camera, how can they post it as a comment?

  Currently, they can’t. What they’d have to do is upload it to, say, Flickr or some other online service and link to it in their comment. Then, if you want to, you can edit their comment from your Dashboard and embed it using HTML:

  <img src="[image URL]"/>

  We don’t currently let readers who aren’t users on the blog upload their own images in comments, because things can happen like someone uploads a really huge image that breaks your site’s layout, etc.

  Thank-you! Just to clarify from your message, can USERS upload pictures in comments? And would users include followers? Or admins?

  An admin, an editor, or an author can; otherwise, you’d have to do it for them:
