Photo background colour
-
I have two ‘photo’ blogs with different themes.
Clicking on an image opens the original in a new page, but on one of them the image is top left with a white background (the usual way I think), but on the other the image is centre screen with a black surround. That I prefer!
Is it a property of the theme or is there a simple way of ensuring the black background? Here http://geordiecam.wordpress.com/ is how I want it to work (click on 1st ship)
and here http://geordiecamii.wordpress.com/2012/05/15/swans-2012-and-other-things/ is with the white backgroundThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I get the blank white browser window when clicking on the ship on the first link, and when clicking on one of the swans on the second link.
-
Perhaps it depends on the browser?
I just checked and I only get the black surround in Firefox -
Yeah, that seems to be a new Firefox thing. In the source code for the image with the dark background, in the head section, they reference an off-site CSS file:
resource://gre/res/TopLevelImageDocument.css

I will gradually convert all the site to galleries.
Strange that both blogs did not behave the same. -
The difference is individually inserted images vs galleries. The dark bg is part of the gallery carousel slideshow.
