Photo Captioning Problem
-
Hi everyone! I am new to this and I will sound stupid but here it goes. Everytime a put a caption on a photo and preview it on mobile, the caption is not under the photo. It is on the side which looks so off but when I view on mobile, it is under the photo. How do I deal with this? Thank you.

Hello
The Rebalance theme adapts itself to the device it is being viewed on, and so may move various pieces around to optimize the viewing experience depending upon the device. You mention though that on mobile devices when drafting the caption it appears in one place but when viewed on mobile devices after posting the caption looks normal, is that what you are asking about? That too may be normal behavior for an adaptive theme.

Hi @alroiabrantes,
Rebalance does show the captions to the left of the image on wide screens and under the image on mobile by design.
Changing this behavior would require Custom CSS which becomes available when upgrading the site to WordPress.com Business or Premium. If you decide to upgrade and you’d like to make the captions all centered, just reply to this thread later and I’ll assist you with that.

Could you tell me more about this? Are you logged into the WordPress.com website on your mobile device, or are you using the app? What brand/model of device are you using?
