Photo captions

  Last week I uploaded photos into a draft I’m working on and all captions were saved. Right now those captions are no longer visible and can’t be updated when in draft format. (In photos I included links in, the link text is visible by itself but without the captions) Curiously, if you preview the draft all the captions can be seen. I’m using Classic Block to work in. This issue is the same in Safari and Google Chrome.

  Hi there,

  The captions are there, but in the editor they’re being displayed as white text on the white background. That’s why you can’t see them.

  This is a bug, and it has already been reported to the folks over on WordPress.org who make the editor. Once it’s fixed on that end, we’ll also be able to update the editor on ours, but I’m not able to tell you how long that might take.
