Photo desaturation of color

  Hello! I’ve noticed when I upload my photos to WordPress, there is a loss of color vibrancy.

  Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way I can fix this?

  It sounds like this could be a color profile issue. The link below suggests that before you upload your photo to WordPress, convert it to sRGB mode. That’s the mode WordPress likes.

  Exact steps are not given, and may vary depending on whether you’re using Photoshop or some other graphics program (maybe a free one that came with your digital camera?).

  This fix only applies to people who are having the problem cited by the OP. I’ve never had this problem because I’ve only used “generic” images which don’t have an embedded color profile.

  REPEAT: You only need this fix if you’re experiencing a problem.
