Photo display on blog

Hello, I need help with how the photos show up on my blog when you click on them.
Basically, on my posts, you click on the photo and it brings you to a completely blank page with the photo as its actual size. If you look at my blog and click on some of the images, this will happen.
I was messing around with gallery settings, trying to figure out how to insert in the carousel image gallery. I DID figure this out, but decided against it. I would rather insert images at a medium size and allow for viewers to click it and bring it to a blank page with the photo at actual size.
BUT since messing around with figuring out the gallery, now when I try to post any new images, when I preview it and click on the image, it brings me to a new wordpress page where I view the image with a title and a smaller version of the photo under it that says “Back to Gallery”
How do I get rid of this and get it back to the setting I had to begin with! I want my blog back how it used to be! This new way takes longer to load and it is not anything like my blog was to begin with.
