Photo imports but no image can be seen

  I’ve been using photos on my blog (ServiceYouCanTrustBlog.com) for years. I’ve been dragging or inserting from my Windows pictures library with no problems getting them into unpublished drafts–until today. Suddenly, I get an indication that the photo has been imported, but all I get is one of those funny “x” boxes–even with previously published images that I tried as a test. Any ideas?

  On further checking, I see that other photos are missing from earlier drafts, even some copy over which I have labored. I’m feeling desperate, among other feelings best left undisclosed.
