Photo not appearing in Topic list

My post photo isn’t appearing in the in the topc list.. last look it was here 5 Reasons
Any ideas? It’s a single photo at the bottom of the post.

This is a tag page. It shows the latest posts tagged “Humor”. When someone posts a new post it is added to that tag page and tag page is renewed by millions of others who publish a post having that tag. In this way your post is gone back to the pages i-e from 3 to 10 or so. Hope you’ve understand it now.

I really appreciate your attempt to help, but I didn’t answer my question.
I tagged it humor, it had/has a picture in the post, the picture didn’t show up when it posted in humor, or still doesn’t.
I’m also sorry I left the earlier comment out of frustration, but my post is now so far back the list after the 2-3 hours when I posted the question it’s hardly even worth trying to fix.
Having said all that, I do dearly want to know what I might have done wrong for future postings where I add an appropriate photo/picture.

I tagged it humor, it had/has a picture in the post, the picture didn’t show up when it posted in humor, or still doesn’t.
We bloggers have no control over whether or not images in posts are displayed on the global tags page. All posts are displayed in order of the original date stamps at publication and editing does not change that. Posts are published every minute of every day and fall off the main tag pages very quickly and are found on pages 2, 3, etc. as they are pushed back when new posts are published.
Be sure your posts are not among the missing posts for the reasons stated here > global tags > missing posts
Know also that that’s the extent of Volunteer help you can get with this issue on this peer support forum. If you feel this is important enough to create a support ticket for then click the Help link on the top right hand corner of your Admin page and report the issue to Staff. But do know that the global tag pages rarely if ever provide a sigificant flow of traffic to blogs. It’s Google search that delivers sigificant traffic.

Right, I understand it’s just a peer forum, and I regret getting frustrated.
However, I don’t understand the answer you gave either. My post didn’t go missing. My post just didn’t have a picture on the ‘tag’ page, even though the post made it to the ‘tag’ page.
I didn’t go back and edit it after posting in order to add a photo if that’s what you mean?
And I understand posts quickly disappear, hence my frustration.
Is it important for me to create a support ticket? Probably so, as until I understand the what I did wrong it’ll probably keep on happening on my future posts.

We don’t have any control over whether or not images in our posts are displayed on the global tag pages. If you wish to create a support ticket for Staff then that’s your perogative but I wouldn’t do so as you confirm that the the post is appearing on the global tag pages.

You may also want to note that not every posts appears in the global tags. Staff apparently do some randomizing of the display. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-shows-in-topics-youve-tagged?replies=29

Well I reduced my tags to about 6 today. I thought the 6-10 limit related to the limit of topics related tags, not all tags. Anyway, my picture did appear in my post today, so I’m happy. Thanks for your help. I guess I can go back tomorrow and add the additional tags I wanted to.

Hello there,
We blogger have no control over which images display or not on the global tag pages. The traffic from those pages to blogs is negilgible. Keeping this thread “live” in a peer support forum serves no useful purpose as we Volunteers can’t assist with your images issue. Will you please go to the top of this thread and in the first post you made in it click “resolved”?
