  Hello, are you trying to add a Gravatar profile?

  That is the easiest way to upload a profile picture/link. There are two ways to add it using sidebar widgets and it will link back to your profile. Here’s a link that talks about those: https://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatars/#gravatar-widget

  But if you are trying to just add an image with a caption, there’s a widget for that, too : https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
