photo question

I have started my blog as a place to organize and share my photography… I have uplaoded quite a few pictures. I want to know if there is a way to simply advance to the next picture in my photogallery without having to click each picture individually. I’ve read about embedding slideshows, but don’t want to do that because I’d like my photos to be in full resolution.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This post may be of interest to you:

    (Most especially the last paragraph.)

I’ll comment here about the very very large number of images you have in the one
page. I have a relatively fast connection and yet it takes a long time to open. I’m patient but not everyone is going to wait for your page to load. People with modems are not going to be able to see your pictures if you continue to add more and more images to that page—the connection will time out after only some of the pictures are loaded.

It would be much better to add your pics to posts, then assign categories to them. That way readers can choose groups of pictures to view. And they will load much faster.

I think what you want to do with the images is check the “Post to URL” option of each photo, when clicked the image will appear at the top of the post with two smaller images below, allowing the reader to go back and forth.

    Example:

    Paseo de la Reforma

Please let me know if this helps as I am new and still learning.
