Hi there,
Theme description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/hatch/
Size of what? Do you mean header image? If so what do you see here? Appearance > Header?
And here? http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/#supported-themes
Hatch 640 or 940 flexible -
For my collection photos displayed using mosaic, i’m not sure as i’m only new at this?
I just want to display average/large size photos for my portfolio without becoming blurry.
Thanks:) -
I have changed my images to 640 wide, hight flexible but they are still appearing blurry, can someone please help this is driving me crazy:(

Hi @brydiemariesmith – Your images appear very sharp on my end. Could you please make a screenshot of how they look to you? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload it to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at it there.
Please also try loading your blog in an alternate browser, such as Firefox, to see if you see the same blurriness there. That would help us narrow down if this might be an issue specific to your browser.

@brydiemariesmith:
a) All images uploaded to your blog lose some color and sharpness when the displayed version is a scaled down version of the file you have uploaded. So if you use a tiled gallery, and if you want the gallery thumbnails to link to a larger view in the carousel slideshow, there’s no way to avoid the slight loss of quality you get when you view the thumbnails.
b) If you’re asking about the carousel view, it depends on the user’s screen resolution, so you should aim for images that fit in the average screen, so 640px wide for portrait-shaped images is rather ok.
