  Hey bjinks63,

  Will you please tell us the image you want to resize and where do you want to put it?

  You can do that using your computer only. But if you want to edit it after uploading to WordPress.com, you can.

  Hi there,

  If you want to make the file size of an image smaller you need to do it in a photo editing program like Photoshop or even Preview on Mac before uploading it to your site. The media library editor can be used to resize the dimensions of the image, but not to change the size of the actual file.

  Thanks guys! I realise that some things work on the imac but are not available on the iphone or ipad. The photo can be resized (using imac) in the text on the page being edited.
