@bunnipunch
Please consult your detailed theme description here > http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/triton-lite/Know that the featured image dimensions you upload must be precise for the slider to manifest.
Featured Post Slider
The theme has a dynamic featured post area (shown just below the site title on the home page) which is a snap to use: just add big featured images—at least 950 pixels in width and 270 pixels in height—to your Sticky Posts and you are good to go.If you need more help then please read the Triton Lite threads as it’s unlikely that your question has not been previously answered https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/triton-lite

Setting a featured image > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image
Page attributes module – If you don’t see it, then click on the “Screen options” in the upper right corner of your Editor and check the box next to it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/ -
Yes I read the description in my theme of how to do it but it does appear. I will look at the second option you have given me now.
Thanks
