  Please explain how I can add a photo slideshow to my WordPress? As in a blog post.

  It doesn’t support the media, but it’s also not a video.

  You can add a photo slideshow to a post using the gallery tool. Here’s more on how that works

  Thank you, it’s appreciated, but I was looking for more of a slideshow, rather than a manual gallery? I’ve saved it from a mpg to a jpeg but it still won’t load. It’s a automated slideshow with music.

  Thanks for the clarification. That sort of slideshow is actually a kind of video. In order to add it to a post you’d need VideoPress (which is part of our WordPress.com Premium upgrade) or to host the file on a site like YouTube or Vimeo and embed it that way.
