Photo slideshow in blog post

can anyone let me know how I make a photo slideshow of a set of photos (one photo changing to another after a certain period of time, and then another and another etc) and how I could then go about inserting it into a blog post? I’ve seen it done on other blogs, but have never done it myself and have no idea where to start!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

The timing cannot be controlled. However, you can have slideshows. A slideshow will display a set of images attached to a particular post or page. If you upload images using the Add an Image button while editing/creating the post or page, they will be attached automatically. If you upload images directly to the media library from Media -> Add New, you will need to attach them to a post or page before they will appear in a slideshow. http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/
