Photo Slideshow on website

  Hello!

  I have trying to create a slideshow of photos at the top of the website (mainly on the homepage but might be easier to do so on all pages!) Anyway, I do not know how to do this, and wasn’t sure if this was applicable on all themes or not? My current website theme is Twenty Sixteen. If so, do all photos automatically turn into the same shape for size?Please can someone guide on how to make a slideshow on the website?
