photo thumbnail in my gallery does not display full size

I inserted a new photo into a gallery and I can see it on my page as a thumbnail. But when I click to enlarge, it does not show up. The other four photos currently in the gallery work fine. I’m pretty sure I did the uploading correctly. Thanks.

Sure. Go to parent menu Picture This and then child menu Scenery. In Scenery, there are five thumbnail photos. If you click on the last one, Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, you will see that it does not open as at full size. Instead, the slide show opens without that photo in it. Clicking on any of the other four photos also opens the slide show but the Montezuma photo is not there.

It appears that image may have gotten deleted somehow.
Here’s what I did to discover that:
I went to the page you mentioned and saw what you were talking about (very strange!), and then edited the page so I could look at the gallery. You can edit the gallery by clicking on it and clicking the little pencil icon in the upper left hand corner.
On the gallery page, you can see details for each image. All of them have the correct information except that one image, which is missing its dimensions, which is odd. There is a link which you can click on to go edit the image in the Media Library. I clicked it (that is this link: https://rheahirshman.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=7&action=edit&image-editor), and when it loaded, the media library was unable to find the image. The thumbnail is still there, probably because it was loaded in to the gallery, but the actual image has been removed.
All you need to do is remove the image from the gallery and then reupload it and it should work OK!
