Photo Upload Broken

I’ve been trying (and trying) to put up a new Home Page post. The photo upload is broken. I click on the icon, up pops the “Upload” thing, I hit “Browse,” click on the photo from my computers’ photo gallery, click “Upload,” the page comes up where it APPEARS that the photo’s been successfully uploaded, I type in the photo caption (and pick “Center” and “Full Size” then click “Insert into Post” then . . . NOTHING. It just goes to a blank page.
I’ve uploaded photos to my site literally hundreds of times over the past year and three months. I tried going back and repeating the process. I’ve started over. So forth and so on. It’s got bugs. It’s glitched-up. It’s broken. I’d appreciate someone looking into this and fixing it.

What browser and version are you using? Some FF users have reported a problem; switching to safe mode and back seems to do the trick.

I’ll try that. Firefox, in fact. It’s maddening. *I* haven’t done anything different than what I’ve done hundreds of times, only now WP seems to not want to upload my photos.
Maddening.
