Photo Upload Issue

  Today, all my photos are uploading with strange rotations and the site isn’t even letting me edit, it just keeps shutting down. I’m using IE 8 and this has never happened before.

  Welcome to Automatic Rotation – if you liked Infinite Scroll and it’s very poor implementation you will love Auto Rotate.

  Resistance is Futile – I did not like the announcement and thought it would crash things – maybe someone has an idea to help you – I am sorry I have no suggestions other than to maybe get the pitchforks out and storm the castle

  When I raised the issue elsewhere I was told to move along no problem here because all the picture editing software that rotates pictures changes the EXIF info so nothing will be rotated wrong.

  If they would have just given a rotate 90 button on the theory that more people are uploading pictures directly and they have now been given a new tool I would have thought fine – but Auto anything sooner or later will Auto Crash.
