Photo won't add to existing gallery

  I have created a gallery on a Page. I would now like to add a photo from my Media library to that gallery, but can’t see how to do it. I’ve gone to ‘edit’ on the Page that the gallery is on and tried to add the pic but it appears on the page as a normal picture above the gallery, not as part of the gallery. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? Many thanks,

  I’ve now solved the problem!
