Photo won't centre in posts

  Hi everyone
  When I use just one photo in my post it always stays aligned to the left hand side. I have pressed the centre alignment button in the editing section on the blog post many times and then update but it’s not changing it.
  Is there something else I should be doing as well? I am using the Radcliffe theme.
