Photo won't display on Facebook when shared

Hi guys, I really need some help. I have no problem with getting my featured image shown before, like 2 months ago, and now I have a new blgog post and when I share it to my facebook profile, it won’t display the featured image that I set.

The thing is, I share it with google plus and tumblr but the image works fine.
I already optimized all my pics, and I double check my pictures in the media library, its all uploaded from my computer.
What could have happened?

Maybe it’s the images you are using in the content have a very large and you are using as featured image is small.

I optimized my photos. After viewing my pictures, I realize that some of them are in 6mb and 10 mb. After using photoshop and “save as”, I lowered the quality to 8 which lessen the file size of each photo.
I had to change my photos, re-uploaded it back. Thank you so much for the help!

Hello! I have a similar question. I have changed my gravatar and deleted the first, original photo from wordpress. Every time I publish, it links to facebook and on there, it shows the old photo. I know how to change my gravatar. Does anyone know why the photo still appears on facebook? I’ve tried the debugging page through FB, but it doesn’t give me an option to delete the image. Any help would be so appreciated!

The same thing is also happening on my google plus actually, except it’s mixing up all my images. There are specific photos in each blog post, but google plus posts with random photos (that I think it’s pulling from my instagram?!) Help!
