Photoblog for a Page
-
Hi!
Is it possible to turn a specific page into a photoblog?
Thanks!

Specifically what do you mean?
You can upload images into either posts or pages. And you can create as many posts and pages as you want. However, in a blog only one page (usually the front page but this can be changed) will automatically update with each new post you make.
Pages sit outside the blog structure and they are for static content that rarely, if ever, changes. So all other pages you create are not dynamic (automatically updating) and can only be updated by editing. They cannot be assigned categories and they do not get the same Google juice as posts on your front page do.

I read, this article
http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/20/having-a-static-page-at-the-front-of-the-blog/I tried this and I’ve found out that there can only one dynamic page that lists all the posts -either the front page of the blogsite(which is by default) or the “Posts” page created from the article.
The PhotoBlog I was referring to was, if a photoblog system can be integrated into a wordpress blogsite.
(i.e. http://www.photoblogawards.com/2006/MostPopularPhotoblog.html)So I guess, a “wordpress.com” site can’t both have a text blogsite and a photoblog site at once.

That’s right: you need two different blogs for that, but you can link them. Or you can intersperse your text posts with your image posts, and those kinds of blogs are quite popular; you draw hits from both readers and viewers that way, extending your reach. And if you tag photos with “Photos” then blog readers can automatically get just those posts by clicking on the category in the sidebar.
