Photobucket Problem ?

Hi…I need help…all photos in my blog – uploaded through Photobucket dissapeared and a message “this photo or video has been mooved or deleted” came up…I checked my acount in photobucket and it’s ok…does anybody know what could be the problem????

Did you move the images to a new album in Photobucket or change the names of any of the images? This could have broken the links to the photos. Try uploading a new image, putting it in a test post and see what happens. It looks like it’s a problem at Photobucket’s end and not WordPress’s to me.

NO my friend…i didn’t touch anything at all at photobucket…and till yesterday everything was just fine in my blog…I closed pc last night at today I everything was dissapeared…any other idea???
PS. I knew that you can’t remove-rename or just move photos between folders in Photobucket…

And the strange is that when I open a post to format it – the image exist in the post !!! but it doesn’t come up when I publise the post…

Well my friend I did a test…I uploaded a photo from a folder in photobucket and the same problem…then I uploaded a photo NOT IN A FOLDER (just in the main screen) and it was ok !!! so I guess the problem is that WordPress changed sth and now it can’t show photos from a folder in photobucket ???

I also created a new folder as I thought it might be problem with the certain forder but NO my friend…the same result…so I think it just cant show photos from folder…and my question is “is it temporally or that’s it” ???? and now I have to move all my photos from files and re-enter in my blog, that is a big trouble as you can imagine…

Just to let you know, I don’t think this isn’t a wordpress issue. If you plug in the direct link to the image in your browser you get the same result. I suggest contacting Photobucket. The image you’re getting in your post page might be leftover from your cache. Might also want to check your folder settings to make sure they don’t have remote linking blocked.

Those are two different images. Are they supposed to be?
This is DEFINITELY a photobucket issue. You’ll have to straighten it out there. Maybe you have your settings to Private or something?
In your Chelsea vs Liverpool post, this is the URL of the “moved or deleted” warning:

I still believe that is problem of WordPress cause I can’t explain how it can show photos from the main screen my photobucket account BUT NOT from an album….

As I can see there wont be a solution in this problem so I had to give a solution myself…I moved all my photos from inside album to the main screen of photobucket account and then I had to re-enter the new direct link to all my photos in my blog…anyway I still believe it is WordPress problem as many others after upgrades…hope this will be the last I have to face…
Thanks for your willing to help me my friends – even if you could’t understand and solve my problem…but I’m wondering if this happened only to my blog…noone else had similar problem with photos from an album in photobucket these days ???

I’ve been using Photobucket for five or six years and not had this problem, so I still don’t understand what went wrong.

My friend raincoaster do you have your photos in photobucket organized in albums or you have all in the main screen without albums?? as you can see from the solution I finally had to give the problem was that these days after sth changed in wordpress photos from albums looked like deleted or moved – it couldn’t recognize photos in albums – BUT it can show photos from the main screen (main screen : I mean not in seperate albums)…

I have most of my photos in albums. I would assume the difference would be a code issue, but without the code we can only guess.

Stergios, I had the exact same trouble you did. I think I figured it out, though it doesn’t make any sense to me why this is doing what it’s doing.

Thanks my friend but I have already changed all my photos from folder’s to the main page…I read your post and I really didn’t noticed the change…anyway thanks again and hope you don’t meet any other problem again.
