The caption is black in a static photo, however in a slideshow, the captions appear white. How can I change it from white to black lettering?

Hi Mei,
You can change the caption to black if you edit CSS. Please go to Appearance > Customize > CSS and add this:
div.slideshow-slide-caption { color: black; }It’s a little difficult to see because the background is white, so you can add a white text shadow like this:
div.slideshow-slide-caption { color: black; text-shadow: white 1px 1px 2px; }If you have other thoughts about this, let me know!

Thank you so much, it worked perfectly!
In you opinion, could you see the caption better in white or black lettering?

Hi Mei!
That’s a tough call. It really depends on the background color (the color of the image). In my opinion, I think the white lettering stands out a bit more.
