photographs and the best way to get them out there

    hello — i am in the middle of creating my blog and essentially have two categories: travel and photography. the drop down menu are almost identical except that the “photography” menu has more sub-items. the travel category includes content of prose interspersed with photographs. the photographs category only contains photographs.

    i cannot decide if it is better to actually turn the “photographs” category to a page so that it does not take up, redundantly, space whenever i upload a new photograph or several…. or leave the category as is. if i leave it as is, do you know if it is possible to view the photographs as thumbnail tiles that can be open to a larger file and yet not have the tiles of photographs in the ‘travel” post?
