photographs don’t show up

  Two of my photos are not showing up. I’ve tried resizing and moving around, but for some reason they just show up as the caption. What to do? Thanks.

  Apparently there was either a problem with the image uploads, or the images were deleted somehow. Open that post, delete the missing images, upload and insert the images again.

  You should also re-name the pictures that you re-upload. Or wordpress will do it for you by adding a number to each of the re-uploaded images.

  libbied, you deleted many attachments – those images among them.

  thanks for the responses. i tried re-uploading but encountered the same problem. what do you mean by “deleted many attachments”? the stand alone photos that i “insert” (rather than upload) also show up in the gallery, and i go back and delete those, as i don’t want the repetition. is this what you mean? how can i avoid the repetition without deleting the attachments?
