Photon is Generating Thumbnails with transparent sections that should not be

  I’m not really sure how to describe it other than that. When activated, I get some very strange thumbnails (see here: http://i0.wp.com/dan.rossiters.org/cms/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Knights-of-Our-Lives-The-Neopian-Times.gif?resize=150%2C150). When deactivated, thumbnails appear as they should (see here: http://dan.rossiters.org/cms/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Knights-of-Our-Lives-The-Neopian-Times-150×150.gif).
